The Red River Standard Schnauzer Club of Texas (RRSSCTX) maintains a Listing of preferred breeders in and around the state of Texas. 

Breeders on this list have signed the RRSSCTX Breeders Code of Ethics, which outlines best practices for breeding, husbandry, and placement of puppies and dogs. RRSSCTX as an organization is not equipped to police each and every breeder within the state of Texas, but suggests the preferred breeders on our website based on their adherence to these best practices and our breeders’ code of ethics.

Breeders on this page maintain the highest level of husbandry, knowledge of the breed, and dedication to improving the breed while maintaining the historical qualities the breed has as a family companion and farm dog. All breeding dogs have passed the recommended health clearances. These breeders are committed to each animal they have produced for the life of that animal and in preserving the Standard Schnauzer as an outstanding companion and working dog.
